After finding themselves down 25-20 at halftime, to the Broughton Caps, Millbrook outscored their opponents 22-13 in the 2nd half.  The tough Wildcat defense caused problems for Broughton.  The Caps got very little production out of their halfcourt offense.

Early in the 3rd quarter, Millbrook chipped away at the lead by penetrating and cleaning up their missed shots with rebounds and put backs.  On the defensive, the Wildcats were just as dominating in the rebounding department, limiting the Caps to primarily one shot per possession.

Even with the advantage on the boards, Millbrook didn’t take their first lead until Stephen Townsend hit a 10 foot jumper with 2:47 left in the 3rd.  Jarrick Brown was huge in the 2nd half, opening the 4th with a three-pointer to increase the lead to six points and scoring on couple of huge jumpers down the stretch.

Brown led all scorers with 17 points, fellow Wildcat Donzell Hill added 12 points.  Prince Williams was the high man for Broughton with 11 points.  Millbrook moves on to face Wakefield on Friday.
