Mike Fogg poured in 23 points as Apex overcomes foul trouble to win Tri-9 tournament

Championship- #1 Apex 58 - #2 Middle Creek 52
Final: As expected Apex took home the crown, but it wasn’t easy. The Cougars used hot outside shooting to jump out to an early lead, but Middle Creek was game. The Mustangs were aggressive and got Apex in foul trouble. Mustang leading scorer for the season, Stephen McAllister, was solid as usual with 19 points. Mike Fogg, is an initiator of the Apex offense with penetration and benefited tonight with 23 points. The hot shooting Connor Belicic added 19 points.
Pac-6 results
Championship- #2 East Chapel Hill 55 - #1 Riverside 45
Final: After playing second fiddle to Riverside all season, East Chapel clamped down defensively to walk away with the hardware. East Chapel Hill standout point guard capped a solid tournament with a 21 point effort. East Chapel Hill, led by one point going into the 4th and held the Pirates to only 9 points in the final period. All of this was done even with the return of Michael Mayer from injury. Congrats to the Wildcats, we told you they had it in them to make a run.

Cap-7 results
Championship-#1 Millbrook 74 - #3 Wakefield 64
Final: After a low scoring semi-final game against Broughton, the top seeded Millbrook Wildcats came out hot in Friday’s final. We said that the match up of Donzell Hill and Keith Armstrong would be key. Armstrong had a good showing, but Hill was phenomenal with 25 points. Tyrrel Tate came back from a foul ridden game Thursday to put in 17 points. The Wildcats jumped out to a 23-12 lead after the 1st quarter, and held a 54-41 advantage heading into the final period. Xavier Saddler-Mee had 16 points for Wakefield in the loss.
Greater Neuse results
Championship- #1 Garner 85 - #6 East Wake 62
Final: The Garner Trojans left no doubt they were tops in the Greater Neuse championship game. East Wake was held to just 5 points in the 1st quarter, while Garner quadrupled that output with 20. Warrior Kasunn Williams continued his tear thru the tournament with 21 points, but his team had no answer defensively. Garner’s Stephen Drane led all scorers with 25 points and Donald Johnson put in just over his tournament average with 21 points. Gavin Wilson added 17 points for the Trojans.
